Samsung could launch the thinnest Foldable phone and a Tri-Fold device soon

Posted on

Samsung is working on exciting new foldable phones for 2025. According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone. Right now, the HONOR Magic V2 holds that title with a thickness of just 9.9mm when folded. Samsung is aiming to beat that and set a new record.

The company has been focusing on making foldable phones lighter and slimmer every year. The Galaxy Z Fold 6, expected later this year, is already said to be thinner than the Fold 5. However, it looks like Samsung will push the limits with the Fold 7 next year. There are also rumors that Samsung might be planning to use a special slot-shaped hinge and stronger materials to make this possible.

Besides that, Samsung is also working on a tri-fold smartphone, which can fold into three parts. While this sounds very impressive, it might not have the largest display. Huawei is also working on a tri-fold phone, and its screen size could end up being bigger than Samsung’s.

Even if Samsung’s tri-fold device isn’t the biggest, it will still be a major step forward in foldable technology. With these new phones, Samsung wants to stay ahead in the growing foldable market and offer users better designs and more choices.
