Samsung confirms Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is coming soon

Samsung is getting ready to launch the Galaxy Watch 8 series later this year, and now we know that the “Classic” version is making a comeback. A new certification from the UAE’s TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) confirms that the “Galaxy Watch 8 Classic” name is official.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic was listed with the model number SM-L305F. This matches earlier leaks showing different models like SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, and SM-L315. Samsung’s “Classic” version is expected to feature the beloved physical rotating bezel, which many fans missed when the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro dropped it.
The Galaxy Watch 8 series will likely include a regular Galaxy Watch 8, a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and possibly a new Galaxy Watch Ultra, aiming to compete with the Apple Watch Ultra lineup. Reports suggest that Samsung might announce these new smartwatches in early July, alongside new foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
Although the full specs are still under wraps, the Galaxy Watch 8 series is expected to bring better battery life, new health features, and stronger durability. The return of the Classic model shows that Samsung is listening to its fans who loved the original design. More details will likely surface as Samsung’s summer event gets closer.
