Galaxy Tab S8 series receives One UI 7.0 update with new features
Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series. This new update brings several improvements and fresh features based on Android 15.
The update is now available in Europe and South Korea for the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. Users in these regions can download it by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. The update comes with the firmware version ending in CXDD and includes the April 2025 security patch.
One UI 7.0 offers a smoother experience with better animations, improved app performance, and more options to customize your device. It also brings new privacy and security features to keep your data safer. Plus, Samsung has refreshed many of its apps to match the new design and make them easier to use.
Samsung released the Galaxy Tab S8 series in early 2022 with Android 12 and One UI 4.1 out of the box. Since then, the tablets have received steady updates, and with One UI 7.0, they continue to stay modern and secure.
If you own a Galaxy Tab S8, it’s a good idea to back up your data before updating to avoid any issues. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more countries in the coming days.
