Small design issues found in One UI 7 and new stable Android 15 update rolls out for Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 5

Samsung recently started testing One UI 7 based on Android 15, and some early users have spotted small design problems. Even though the update brings exciting features, there are a few things that don’t feel right.
For example, the weather widget now shows the temperature inside a small blue box, which looks a bit odd. Some Samsung apps also show the keyboard opening too quickly, causing small layout issues. Plus, some animation effects seem missing or incomplete in this version.
At the same time, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the US. Owners of these devices can now enjoy the latest features and changes by joining the beta program through the Samsung Members app. However, the beta is only available for unlocked models. Carrier-locked versions will have to wait a little longer.
Overall, while One UI 7 is shaping up to be a major upgrade with Android 15, these minor design flaws show that Samsung still has some polishing to do before the final release. If you’re using a Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Fold 5 and love trying new software early, this could be a good time to test it out—but be ready for a few rough edges.
