Samsung gives more time for free screen replacement for green line issue

Samsung

Samsung has decided to extend the free screen replacement program for users dealing with the green line issue. This problem has affected some Galaxy phones, and now, customers have more time to get a free fix. The offer is valid until September 30, 2025, and applies to certain Galaxy models.

According to Samsung, users who face the green line issue on the display can visit an official service center and get their phone’s screen replaced for free. This is only available for selected models, and your device must meet the eligibility criteria. Earlier, the offer was supposed to end in April 2025, but now it’s extended to September.

Samsung’s service team confirmed this update in response to a user’s complaint on the Members app. It’s worth noting that this program also includes a free battery replacement along with the screen, which is a bonus for affected users.

The green line issue has mostly appeared after software updates on some older Galaxy models. Samsung hasn’t shared the full list of eligible devices, but popular models like Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 series are likely included.

If your phone has this issue, it’s best to visit a nearby Samsung service center and get it checked before the new deadline. This step shows Samsung’s effort to keep its users happy and solve known hardware issues without extra cost.
