Galaxy phones now get free Gemini Live, Screen Sharing, and Live Camera tools

Gemini

Google’s Gemini app just got better for Galaxy phone users. Now, everyone with a Galaxy device can use some cool features for free — including Live, Screen Share, and Live Camera. These tools were once available only to Galaxy S24 users, but now they’re rolling out to more devices, including older models.

With Gemini Live, you can talk to the Gemini chatbot using your voice. It lets you speak naturally, like you’re talking to a real person. You can also use the new “Live Camera” feature, which lets Gemini see through your phone’s camera and describe what it sees or help you with what you’re looking at. For example, you can point your camera at a menu, and Gemini can tell you what’s on it.

Screen sharing is also now supported. You can show Gemini your screen, and it will help guide you through things, like fixing settings or using certain apps. These features are part of Google’s push to make AI more helpful on smartphones.

To use them, make sure you have the latest version of the Gemini app and that your Google account is set to English (US). The rollout has already started, and many Galaxy users can try these features today. More phones are expected to get it soon.
