Samsung has started working on the stable version of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S23 series. This comes after the company paused its latest update rollout due to some issues.

According to reports, Samsung stopped the recent One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 because some users had problems after installing it. To avoid more issues, Samsung decided to halt the update temporarily and focus on fixing the problems.

Now, Samsung is preparing to bring the next major update—One UI 7—to the Galaxy S23 series. The internal test firmware for this update has already been spotted, suggesting that work is in progress. The test build shows version S918BXXU3EXD4, and it’s currently being checked in Samsung’s systems.

One UI 7 is expected to be based on Android 15. While the update may still take some time to reach users, this early testing shows that Samsung is moving ahead with development. t the same time, the company is also working to resume the One UI 6.1 rollout once all known bugs are fixed. So, Galaxy S23 users can expect a smoother experience in the coming updates.

In short, while Samsung paused one update, they’re already preparing for a bigger one that may bring new features and better performance.
