Samsung Galaxy Buds FE 2 shows up in new certification, launch may be near

Samsung

Samsung seems to be getting ready to launch a new pair of wireless earbuds, possibly called the Galaxy Buds FE 2. A recent listing on India’s BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website revealed a new device with the model number SM-R400N, which is believed to be the upcoming Galaxy Buds FE 2.

This isn’t the first time this model number has shown up. It was also seen earlier on the UL Demko certification website, which confirms that Samsung is actively working on the next version of its Fan Edition earbuds. However, the listings so far haven’t revealed any features or design details.

The original Galaxy Buds FE came out in late 2023 as a more affordable option with good sound quality and active noise cancellation. So, the Galaxy Buds FE 2 could be a budget-friendly update with improved performance or new features.

Samsung might unveil these earbuds alongside other new devices at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is expected to happen in the second half of 2025. The event could also include the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Ring.

For now, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything officially, but the certifications suggest the Galaxy Buds FE 2 could be launching soon.
