Samsung updates One UI 7.0 display assistant with a fresh icon

One UI 7

Samsung has rolled out a new look for the One UI 7.0 Display Assistant app by adding a cool, updated icon. This change comes with a recent update for the app, which helps personalize the display on Galaxy devices.

Even though this is the third update since its launch, Display Assistant is still in the Beta phase. Samsung might make it fully stable when One UI 7 officially launches in April 2025.

The new icon matches the style of other recent app updates. Some Good Lock tools have also gotten similar fresh icons, keeping everything looking sleek and consistent. However, there are no new features or layout changes this time—just the icon upgrade.

What One UI 7.0 Display Assistant Offers

Here’s a simple rundown of what the Display Assistant can do:

  • App Screen Timeout: Choose how long the screen stays on for specific apps. Great for keeping the display active longer when you need it.
  • Keep Screen On: Lets the screen stay lit without touching it.
  • Brightness Limit Profile: Use this to keep brightness steady, even if your device gets warm.
  • Adaptive Brightness Options: Control how fast brightness adjusts or reset its pattern.
  • Standard Refresh Rate Apps: Pick apps that don’t need a fast refresh rate to save battery.
  • Screen Curtain: Puts the display in a low-power mode—perfect for long videos or recordings to save energy.

Where You Can Use It

Display Assistant is part of the Good Guardians suite and works only on devices running the One UI 7 Beta. You can try it out on phones like the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, or the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. This update keeps things simple yet stylish, making your Galaxy experience a little more fun!
