Samsung and NVIDIA team up to boost mobile networks with AI

Samsung and NVIDIA have joined hands to improve mobile networks using artificial intelligence. Recently, Samsung shared exciting news about its new partnership with NVIDIA. The goal? To make AI-RAN networks even better.
This teamwork will help bring AI into mobile networks more easily. How? By growing the network of Central Processing Units (CPUs) and strengthening ties with companies that make Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). Together, they’re building a stronger system for smarter networks.
Samsung, a big tech company from Korea, showed a test version to prove that NVIDIA’s fast computing tools can work smoothly with software-based networks. This step helps make AI stronger and more useful in mobile systems.
Here’s how it works: Samsung combines its virtualized network software (called vRAN) with NVIDIA’s speedy computing power. They put it all into a regular server that you can buy anywhere, and Samsung’s software runs it. This setup makes AI-RAN simple and ready to use.
June Moon, a top leader at Samsung’s Networks Business, said, “Working with NVIDIA shows we’re serious about growing the GPU and CPU world. We’re excited to see what else we can do together down the road.” This partnership is a big step toward smarter, faster mobile networks. With Samsung’s know-how and NVIDIA’s tech, the future of AI in our phones and devices looks bright!
