Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE spotted with same power as a top mid-range phone

Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S10 FE, a wallet-friendly option in the Tab S10 family, recently showed up on Geekbench. This sneak peek confirms it shares the same core power as the Galaxy A56 phone. That means both devices should deliver similar speed and performance for everyday use.
Hints of this tablet have been around for a while. Last year, Samsung’s website mentioned the Tab S10 FE, promising a free year of Goodnotes with it. Later, it got certified in India, hinting at a possible launch there soon. Now, the Geekbench listing gives us a clearer look at what’s inside this device.
The tested model, labeled SM-X520 (the Wi-Fi version of the Tab S10 FE), runs on an eight-core processor. It mixes slower and faster cores and includes a graphics chip built with AMD’s help. Experts believe this is the Exynos 1580, the same processor powering the Galaxy A56. Samsung has done this before—its older Tab S9 FE also borrowed a chip from an A-series phone.
The Geekbench info also shows the tablet has around 8GB of memory and comes with Android 15 ready to go. Its scores—about 1,349 for single tasks and 3,882 for heavier multitasking—give a sense of its strength. Plus, it supports cool graphics and energy-saving tricks, so it should handle games, apps, and more without hiccups. It’s even built to manage encryption and some AI tasks.
There’s also buzz about a beefier version, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus, popping up on Geekbench, too. This could mean Samsung plans to launch both together, though nothing’s set in stone. The Tab S FE series doesn’t always follow a strict timeline. Since the Galaxy A56 is expected to be a big step up from the A55, the shared Exynos 1580 chip suggests the Tab S10 FE might impress us too. Fans are hoping for a solid upgrade when it finally hits the shelves.
