Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra tops the charts in the US

S25 & S25+

In the March 2025 issue of Consumer Reports, a well-known US magazine, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra grabbed the top spot among smartphones. This is great news for Samsung, as it’s the second year in a row their flagship phone has come out on top, following the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s win in 2024.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra earned an impressive 87 points, sharing first place with Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, which also scored 87. Just behind, the Galaxy S25 Plus hit 86 points, landing in third alongside the S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The S25 Ultra shone brightly, scoring a perfect 5 in most of Consumer Reports’ 10 test categories. It aced performance, rear camera quality, screen clarity, toughness, and user-friendliness. The magazine raved, “This phone has the best camera system we’ve tested.” They also said, “The S25 Ultra is perfect for anyone wanting a high-end Android with an amazing camera and big screen.”

Consumer Reports is a trusted US nonprofit that reviews products and prices to help people make smart choices. Beyond the US, the S25 Ultra has also won praise across Europe. It topped smartphone rankings in five countries—Italy, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, and Sweden—plus the UK and Denmark. In the UK, the magazine Which? gave the S25 Ultra and S25 Plus 85 points each, tying for first. They called the S25 Ultra “big and strong,” adding, “With the latest Galaxy AI tricks, it’s outstanding in every way and earns our ‘Best Buy’ stamp.”

In Denmark, Taenk gave the S25 Ultra 84 points, putting it in first place. The S25 Plus, S24 Ultra, and iPhone 16 Pro Max followed with 82 points each. Taenk cheered, “The S25 Ultra boosts Galaxy AI with One UI 7,” and noted, “Its powerful chip nailed every performance test.” Samsung’s latest star proves it’s a global favorite, blending power, style, and top-notch features.
