Galaxy S24 Ultra’s new update outshines S25 Ultra’s zoom camera
Samsung Galaxy S24 users are trying out the One UI 7 Beta 4 right now, with the full version of One UI 7 set to arrive in April 2025. Surprisingly, new details show that the Galaxy S24 Ultra, running this beta update, is doing better than the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra when it comes to zooming in on faraway things.
A popular tech insider, @UniverseIce, shared that the Galaxy S24 Ultra with One UI 7 Beta takes clearer and sharper pictures at 30X zoom compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This means the S24 Ultra’s zoom camera is stronger, delivering photos that look more detailed and lifelike.
Looking at the sample photos from the tipster, the S24 Ultra’s pictures seem softer and more natural. They don’t have the overly sharp edges seen in the S25 Ultra’s shots, making them feel more real and pleasant to view. On top of this, Samsung recently rolled out the One UI 7 Beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
This beta program lets users of these foldable phones try out the new features early. Samsung also plans to bring this update to more devices soon, like the Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy A55. The company confirmed that the official One UI 7 update will launch in April 2025. Until then, we might see a few more beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series to keep improving things.
