Samsung promises toughness for Galaxy S25 Edge, hints at ceramic design

Samsung recently shared exciting news about the Galaxy S25 Edge, promising it will be strong and long-lasting. The phone was first shown at the Unpacked event, but even at the latest Mobile World Congress, people couldn’t touch or try it out. Samsung is keeping some details a secret for now.
The Galaxy S25 Edge will stand out with its toughness, even though Samsung isn’t ready to show everything yet. That’s why they skipped hands-on demos of this upcoming slim phone. In a chat with TechRadar, Annika Bizon, Samsung’s UK Marketing Director, gave some hints about what’s coming. She kept things simple and clear when answering questions.
“It’s going to have a gorgeous shape that looks amazing,” Bizon said. The phone’s sleek and stylish look will definitely catch attention. “I can’t spill all the details, but I’ll say this: the Edge has a stunning design. And when you think about all the tech packed into such a slim body, it’s really cool.”
On toughness, the Galaxy S25 Edge won’t let fans down. Even with its thin build, Samsung has worked hard to make sure it stays durable. Bizon added, “The other big thing is durability. With a slim phone, it has to be tough. Those two things—great looks and strength—are what make this phone special. Durability might not sound thrilling, but it matters a lot. So, keep an eye out—there’s more exciting stuff ahead!”
There’s also talk that the Galaxy S25 Edge will use a Ceramic back instead of the usual Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Ceramic is tougher than glass, and the phone might come with IP68 water and dust protection plus aluminum edges. Samsung could release the Galaxy S25 Edge in April 2025. Fans are already buzzing about this stylish, sturdy new device!
