Samsung wins 2025 top advertiser title at Spikes Asia

Spikes Asia has chosen Samsung as the 2025 Advertiser of the Year. This is the second time the company has grabbed this title, the first being back in 2017. The award will be handed to Stephanie Choi, a top marketing boss at Samsung’s Mobile Experience (MX) Business, during the Spikes Asia Awards event on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
Samsung proudly shared that Spikes Asia, a famous creativity and marketing award in the Asia-Pacific region, picked them as the 2025 winner. It’s a big deal because this award is one of the oldest and most respected around. In 2024, Samsung’s “Try Galaxy Fold” campaign was a hit. It lets people connect two phones to test the Galaxy Z Fold’s large screen and ability to do many things at once. This fun idea earned them four prizes: a Gold, a Silver, and two Bronze awards.
Back in 2023, their “Flipvertising” campaign also shone brightly, winning two Grand Prix awards. It turned regular ads upside down—literally—and gave Gen Z a fresh way to check out the Galaxy Z Flip 4 online. “We’ve mixed tech and stories to build stronger bonds with people,” Stephanie Choi said. “With our awesome agency partners, we’ve brought our brand’s spirit to life in exciting ways that grab attention, spark inspiration, and push the limits of what ads can do.”
