Galaxy S24 Ultra quietly leaves stores but might come back refreshed

S24 Ultra

Samsung’s top flat-screen phone of 2024, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, has quietly vanished from stores across the USA. Its webpage is still up, but you can’t find the phone in stock anywhere. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is no longer available to buy, whether unlocked or through a carrier. Every version—different storage sizes and colors—is marked as sold out.

As of now, two options from the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are still around, but most of those are gone too. For example, the 256GB Galaxy S24 is unavailable, and only the 512GB Galaxy S24+ from Verizon is left. We think the regular and models might disappear soon as well. But there’s a chance they could return later.

A Second Chance for the Galaxy S24 Series

Even though the Galaxy S24 lineup seems to be fading, it might not be gone for good. Samsung could bring it back through their Certified Re-Newed program, where they sell refreshed older phones. Right now, you can find the Galaxy S21, S22, and S23 models in that program. The 2024 lineup, including the S24 series, could join them soon.

The Galaxy S24 phones are great for trading in if you’re eyeing the new Galaxy S25. Samsung might fix up some of those traded-in S24 devices and sell them again as renewed phones. If you’re planning to upgrade to the Galaxy S25, Samsung is offering up to $1,200 off, depending on which 2024 phone you trade in and what you’re buying.

But if you were hoping to grab the Galaxy S24 Ultra at a discount, that chance is gone for now. We’ll keep watching the Certified Re-Newed program and let you know if it pops up there later.
