Samsung says One UI 7 Beta isn’t fully out yet, ZYBB was a quick fix

One UI 7

Samsung recently shared some news about its One UI 7 Beta update for Galaxy phone users. They’ve put out a small fix, called the ZYBB update, for the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This wasn’t a big new version but a patch to solve a few problems.

A US Beta team member explained that Galaxy S24 owners testing the One UI 7 Beta got this ZYBB hotfix to stop an issue where voicemail (VVM) was crashing. So far, this update is only for unlocked Galaxy S24 phones in the US. It’s a way to keep things running smoothly while bigger updates are in the works.

Word on the street is that Samsung is getting ready to launch the One UI 7 Beta 5 update soon. This one will likely work on the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. If you’ve already installed the ZYBB fix, your phone should be set up nicely for whatever comes next.

On top of that, there’s some buzz about the One UI 7 Beta showing up for other phones, like the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Early signs of this update have been spotted, hinting that Samsung might soon invite these foldable phone users to join the beta testing fun.

For now, Samsung hasn’t spilled the beans about when the Beta 5 update will drop or if the beta program will officially grow to include more devices. If you’re curious about what’s next, keep an eye out for updates. Samsung’s busy tinkering with One UI 7 to make it better for everyone!
