New Galaxy Z Flip FE details surface

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7

Samsung is gearing up to release a budget-friendly version of its Galaxy Z Flip phone later this year. Rumors suggest it might be called the Galaxy Z Flip FE, and it could share many features with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, based on a recent leak.

What We Know About the Galaxy Z Flip FE

A source known as @PandaFlashPro shared that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will likely have the same screen as the Galaxy Z Flip 6, though its brightness might top out at 1,900 nits. The foldable display is expected to use the same Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) for protection as its sibling.

The phone might also feature the same sturdy Armor Aluminum frame, hinge, and tough Gorilla Glass Victus found on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. For photos, it could come with a 50MP main camera and a 10MP front camera. Powering the device might be an Exynos processor (possibly the Exynos 2500), along with Wi-Fi 6E and 25W quick charging.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will have water resistance, stereo speakers, and a ProVisual Engine. It’s expected to launch with Android 15 (running One UI 7.x), just like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, some fancy Galaxy AI tools might not make it to this model due to weaker processing power.

Other than the screen brightness and an unclear water-resistance rating, the Galaxy Z Flip FE seems very close to the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

When and How Much?

The Galaxy Z Flip FE is likely to debut in August, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s said to be more affordable than the regular Galaxy Z Flip 7, though its exact price remains a mystery for now. This leak gives us a sneak peek at what could be a great option for fans of foldable phones who want to save some cash!
