Discover the light and slim Galaxy S25 Edge
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge when they unveiled the new Galaxy S25 series. While they showed off its look, they didn’t share much more about the phone. If you’re someone who likes phones that don’t weigh much, the Galaxy S25 Edge might be your pick.
Galaxy S25 Edge – Very Light
There was a rumor that the Galaxy S25 Edge is thin, only 5.84mm. However, we don’t know exactly how heavy it is. A well-known leaker, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce on X), said that the Galaxy S25 Edge is lighter than the regular Galaxy S25. That means it’s lighter than 162 grams.
We’re not sure of the exact weight yet, but if this leaker’s info is right, it’s pretty amazing that Samsung made a big phone with a 6.7-inch screen that’s lighter than the Galaxy S25 with its 6.2-inch screen.

What Might the Galaxy S25 Edge Offer?
The Galaxy S25 Edge is said to have:
- A 6.7-inch screen that’s very bright, up to 2,600 nits, using Dynamic AMOLED 2x technology.
- An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for security.
- Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for screen protection.
- An Armor Aluminum frame that’s tough, and it’s rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
On the back, there are two cameras:
- A main camera with 200 megapixels.
- An ultrawide camera with 50 megapixels.
- Plus, a 12-megapixel camera for selfies.
Other features include:
- Good sound with stereo speakers.
- Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 for connectivity.
- A USB 3.2 Type-C port.
- A 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to hit the market in late April 2025 and might cost more than the Galaxy S25+. This phone could be a great choice if you want something sleek and not too heavy but still packed with features.
