Koreans love the Galaxy S25 Ultra more than other models

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

In Korea, the Galaxy S25 Ultra seems to be the top pick among the new Samsung phones. Even though we don’t have the full official numbers for pre-orders yet, a report from one of Korea’s major telecom companies, SK Telecom, shows that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is leading the pack.

The three biggest mobile service providers in Korea, SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus, began accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on January 24. The next day, SK Telecom announced that nearly 60-70% of their pre-orders were for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. They also mentioned that the pre-order buzz was similar to what they saw with the previous model, the Galaxy S24, according to ETNews.

It’s important to note that this data from SK Telecom doesn’t represent all of Korea since it doesn’t include pre-orders from the other carriers or Samsung’s website. However, it suggests that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a hit across the board.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra stands out because it’s not just a small update like the other models. It has a new look and comes packed with more features and an improved camera system. In Korea, the basic version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is priced at 1,698,400 won, which is about $1,176. In comparison, the regular Galaxy S25 and the S25+ start at 1,155,000 won ($800) and 1,353,000 won ($937), respectively.

From this, it looks like the Galaxy S25 Ultra is really capturing the hearts of Korean consumers with its advanced features and stylish redesign.
