Samsung has brought back 16GB of RAM to its phones after a long break. The Galaxy S20 Ultra was the first phone with this much memory, but Samsung didn’t keep it up with later models. Now, the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with this big memory option, but there’s a catch – it’s hard to find even in South Korea.
Galaxy S25 Ultra in Korea
In South Korea, you can only get the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage from Samsung’s website. It’s available only in Titanium Jet Black. Here are the prices for different memory options:
- 12GB + 256GB: KRW 1,698,400 ($1,187)
- 12GB + 512GB: KRW 1,841,400 ($1,287)
- 12GB + 1TB: KRW 2,127,400 ($1,487)
- 16GB + 1TB: KRW 2,249,500 ($1,572)
The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ also come in different memory sizes, but only with 12GB RAM:
Galaxy S25:
- 12GB + 256GB: KRW 1,353,000 ($945)
- 12GB + 512GB: KRW 1,496,000 ($1,045)

These phones come in various colors, with some special colors only available through Samsung’s official channels.
Galaxy S25 in India
After showing off the new series in California at the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung launched the phones in India. The smallest phone, the Galaxy S25, is available in two memory options there. But now, there’s a new option – 12GB RAM with just 128GB storage. This version costs INR 74,999 and uses UFS 3.1 storage, which might be a bit slower than the UFS 4.0 in the other models. This could mean slightly slower performance, especially for tasks like video recording.
The 128GB variant isn’t listed on Samsung’s website yet, so it might take a bit more time to find out where to buy it. Keep an eye out for more updates on these new Samsung phones and their unique features.
