The tech maker has emphasized the sleep pattern of individual users, the formation of healthy habits, and the creation of an optimized sleep environment for better sleep. Thus, with the help of this enhanced sleep management feature, users can now check the various tips for sound sleep provided through existing Galaxy smartphones on the Galaxy Watch.

Personalized fitness

One UI 5 Watch operating system provides a personalized exercise guide based on the user’s heart rate zone. Users can now individually check the cardiorespiratory capacity with the Galaxy Watch, and when the user runs for 10 minutes, the maximum oxygen intake (VO2 max) and personalized heart rate intervals based on aerobic and anaerobic thresholds are set.

Additionally, the software provides a personalized “heart rate zone” from zone 1 to zone 5. Also, the GPS Exchange Format route guidance feature available in the “Galaxy Watch 5 Pro” has also been enhanced. In addition to hiking and cycling, running and walking have been added as new options to allow users to check their location more conveniently.

ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES

With the latest OS, Samsung has also customized the emergency SOS feature. A function has been added to connect to an emergency number such as 119 when an emergency situation occurs and the user presses the home button of the Galaxy Watch five times in a row and determines whether or not to connect the call.

After this, a button for direct access to the user’s medical information is provided on the Galaxy Watch screen, but to access these details, users must register their own medical information in advance.
