According to the latest appearance renderings released by overseas graphic designer AR72014, the new iPhone 14 Pro will finally abandon the notch design, which has remained unchanged for thousands of years and use a single-hole + pill combination scheme. And the two openings are not small. The pill-shaped hole will accommodate at least the front camera and the Face ID infrared camera, while the round hole is prepared for the Face ID dot matrix projector.

Although it affects the visual experience to a certain extent, it should have a good performance in face recognition and security. In other respects, according to previously exposed news, the new iPhone 14 series may still continue the design of the iPhone 13 and continue to use the right-angle frame scheme. Two of the Pro versions are the focus of this upgrade.

The front is expected to use an “exclamation mark” punch screen for the first time and is expected to be equipped with a 120Hz high refresh screen and 6GB of memory to support a new generation of LTPO technology, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 MAX are still the same.

In addition, the new phone will inevitably undergo all-around upgrades in terms of performance, imaging, etc., but only the Pro version will use the A16, and the standard version of the iPhone 14 will still use the A15 chip. At the same time, the main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro is expected to be upgraded to 48 million pixels, which is said to pave the way for an 8K video.
