Samsung’s Remote Test Labs program allows app developers to test and fine-tune their upcoming apps on a cloud-connected Galaxy device to get a realistic view of how apps will run on the phone (such as the percentage of apps that fold when the phone is folded), changes, etc.), which is much better than using virtual software or emulators and can also test their apps with hardware-oriented features like Flex Mode and App Continuity.

Remote Test Lab is free, all you need to use the service is to sign up for a free Samsung developer account, a reliable internet connection, and Java Runtime Environment 7 or higher with Java Web Start installed. Samsung offers each user 20 points per day, which can be redeemed for 5 hours of remote access to cloud-based mobile hardware per day.
In addition to installing test applications remotely, developers can take screenshots, audio recordings, and test automation scripts, as well as choose which language to use to test the device. The remote test lab also supports screen sharing with other developers, making it easier for multiple developers to test together.
Moreover, the remote test lab does not support testing hardware peripherals, nor can it test calling and texting functions. Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 phones are available in Samsung’s remote testing labs in Brazil, South Korea, Poland, Russia, and the United Kingdom, and can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
