GTA 5, Elden Ring, and more games expected to support Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming

Twitter user @Knoelbelbroet found that Cloud Gaming Beta tags appeared on the Xbox store pages of “GTA 5”, “Elden Ring” and “Soul Hacker 2”. Xbox Cloud Gaming is Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming service, which went live on September 15, 2020, but has so far been limited to games in the Game Pass service.

Microsoft confirmed earlier this year that it plans to enable Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play games from the cloud that they already own or are outside of the XGP library later this year.

It is worth mentioning that users have found some game pages that have not been added to Game Pass on the official website of Microsoft’s cloud game XCloud, including “Ayrden Circle”, “Red Dead Redemption 2”, “Resident Evil 7″, ” Resident Evil 8, Soulhacker 2, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.

Simply put, these games were originally not part of the Game Pass service, but now they have the Game Pass label. Combined with Microsoft’s previous notice, games such as “Elden’s Ring” may soon be added to the Xbox cloud game, but Microsoft has not officially released any official news.

In addition, some users pointed out that most of these games will not be free to XGP users; they will only join the XCloud cloud game service included in the XGPU and still need to be purchased to play.
