According to Samsung’s current software update policy, Galaxy phones and tablets will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security patches. However, it doesn’t mean that every Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet supports this upgrade policy.
Flagship smartphones that launched with Android 11 OS will get 4 Android updates while others will not. On the other hand, as per the old software update policy, Samsung didn’t treat mid-range and flagship phones the same, but the new policy says that some new mid-range phones will also get the same treatment.
