Lenovo’s new ThinkBook 14+/16+ notebook BIOS update released

Lenovo launched the new ThinkBook 14+/16+ notebooks at the end of last month, equipped with i5-12500H and i7-12700H processors, optional core graphics, and RTX 2050 independent graphics.

Now, the official website of the Internet has released the HYCN33WW BIOS update for ThinkBook 14+/16+, which fixes the CPU frequency reduction problem and optimizes the code logic.

Moreover, ThinkBook 14+ is provided with a 14-inch 16:10 screen, 2.8K resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut. The ThinkBook 14+ uses an all-metal body, 15.9mm thick, with interfaces including Thunderbolt 4, full-featured USB-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, microSD card reader, etc.

The ThinkBook 16+ is provided with a 16-inch 16:10 screen, 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut. The ThinkBook 16+ uses an all-metal body with a thickness of 16.5mm. The interfaces include Thunderbolt 4, full-featured USB-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 network port, SD card reader, etc.

In terms of configuration, the i5-12500H equipped with this series of notebooks is 4 large cores + 8 small cores, and the i7-12700H is 6 large cores + 8 small cores, equipped with LPDDR5 memory, and standard 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The RTX 2050 alone can achieve up to 70W of performance release, and officials say that the performance is 36% higher than that of the GTX 1650.
