Huawei’s 2017 flagship Mate 10 Pro overseas version upgrades to EMUI 12

In January this year, the Huawei Mate10 series released the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.216 version, which has not been updated yet. However, Huawei has not yet launched the Hongmeng OS mobile phone system in overseas markets, so the old models still run EMUI 12 based on Android.

For example, the European version of Huawei P50 Pocket still runs EMUI 12, and the Mate 40 series is still EMUI 11 system, but Tablets such as the MatePad Pro 5G come pre-installed with HarmonyOS.

Moreover, the HuaweiCentral found that Huawei’s flagship mobile phone Mate 10 Pro released in 2017 can already upgrade to the beta version of the EMUI 12 system, including some markets such as South Africa and Spain.

Furthermore,  Huawei Mate 10 Pro is equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 970 chip, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 4000mAh battery, uses a 6-inch screen, and is pre-installed with the Android 8 system. It has experienced EMUI 8.0, EMUI 9.0, and EMUI 10.0 before.

It is reported that Huawei’s EMUI 12 system optimizes a series of new functional designs based on EMUI 11, including user interface (UI) design, animation effects, seamless device flow, and other important functions.

The EMUI 12 design reflects the design language of Huawei’s Hongmeng system, and it can reflect a similar design from UI to functions. In addition, Huawei P50 Pro, P30, P30 Lite, and other models have also ushered in system updates.
