Jim Ryan said: “I will work hard on this project, we have a large number of publishers involved in this project, we have all the games.”

He went on to claim that the new PlayStation Plus service will not only focus on bigger games, but also have a wider choice of developers.

“We have big publishers and we have small independent publishers. We have over 200 partners who have agreed to put content on PlayStation Plus, so the lineup will be very strong.”

Moreover, the new PlayStation Plus service has confirmed several first-party games, such as “God of War”, “Marvel’s Spider-Man”, “Death Return” and so on. Additional games (including third-party titles) will be announced at a later date, with regular additions planned in the future .

However, the new PlayStation Plus service won’t join the library of games as soon as they launch, like Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. Jim Ryan has said he thinks this approach “may hurt” Sony’s development of high-budget games .

In addition, Jim Ryan confirmed that Sony plans to make more acquisitions in addition to its recent acquisitions of Bungie and Haven.
