Dell launched new Thunderbolt 4 docking station

According to the latest report, Dell released the new Thunderbolt 4 docking station, which adopts a modular design, and both the input and output ports can be upgraded in the future.

Moreover, the Dell Thunderbolt 4 docking station has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port on the front and a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port with Dell’s “PowerShare” function. On the back are two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one full-featured USB-C, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Furthermore, the unique feature of this docking station is its modular design, the input can be upgraded to Thunderbolt 5 in the future, and the output can also be upgraded to other future models from Dell.

Dell’s new Thunderbolt 4 docking station is priced at $470 and will be available in the second quarter of 2022.
