Indian PC market grew 45% in 2021: Canalys

Canalys released the shipments of the Indian PC market in 2021. Data shows that India’s PC market shipments in 2021 surged by 45%, hitting a new high in nearly a decade, with shipments of desktops, notebooks, and tablets reaching 18.6 million units.

According to Canalys data, the manufacturer with the highest PC shipments in India in 2021 is HP, with a market share of 25%, followed by Lenovo, Dell, Samsung, and Acer.

Earlier that the latest data released by Canalys showed that China’s personal computer shipments in 2021 will increase by 10% to 57 million units. In 2021, Lenovo will have the highest shipments of desktops and notebooks in mainland China, with a market share of 39.9%, followed by Dell, HP, ASUS, and Acer.

Moreover, Canalys released 2021 global PC shipment data in January. Global PC shipments exceeded 341 million units, a year-on-year increase of 15% and a new high since 2012. Lenovo also won the shipment champion of the global PC market in 2021, with a record 82.1 million units shipped throughout the year, with a market share of 23.7% and a market share of 24.1% followed by HP, Dell, Apple, Acer.
