AMD FSR 2.0 supported graphics card list

At the 2022 Game Developers Conference, AMD will showcase its FSR 2.0 technology. AMD has updated its website with some new interesting details.

First of all, AMD confirmed that FSR 2.0 has higher requirements for graphics cards than 1.0, and released a list of graphics card support, not only its own RX 590 and above, but also Nvidia’s GTX 1070 and GTX 16 series, but the quality requirements higher 1440p or 4K modes require an RTX 20 or 30 series.

Moreover, FSR 2.0 has four quality modes, namely Quality Priority Quality, Balanced Mode Balanced, Performance Priority Performance, and Ultra-Performance, which reduce performance requirements in turn, but also reduce image quality in turn.

Furthermore, AMD says that games that originally supported NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 can support FSR 2.0 in a minimum of 3 days, while games without decoupled display/rendering resolutions or motion vectors take weeks to support.

Besides, AMD FSR 2.0 will be open-sourced in the second quarter and available to all developers, and Microsoft Xbox will also support FSR 2.0.
