As part of this plan, Microsoft will also “commit a net benefit to Fortnite during this time so that we can provide more assistance to the people of Ukraine,”. Funds will be donated to several different organizations, including Direct Relief, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF, and the World Food Programme. Epic said more support organizations will be added: “in the coming weeks.”

“Funds will be sent to these organizations as quickly as possible,” Epic said. “We’re not waiting for actual funds from our platform and payment partners, which may take a while, depending on how the transaction is processed. We log the transaction as it occurs. They, and within a few days, send funds to humanitarian relief organizations.”
