How to transfer data Wirelessly:

Transfer data from your previous device to your device wirelessly via Wi-Fi Direct.

Step 1: On your old device, launch Smart Switch.

  • If you do not have the app, download it from Galaxy Store or Play Store.

Step 2: On your new device, go to the Settings app and tap Accounts and backup, then tap on Bring data from the old device.

Step 3: Place the devices near each other.

Step 4: On the old device, tap Send data and select Wireless.

Step 5: On your new device, tap Receive data, select your previous device’s operating system, and then tap Wireless.

Step 6: On the old device, tap Allow.

Step 7: On your device, select an option you want, then tap Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions to transfer data.
