Microsoft released a preview version of Office Build 14809.20000 on December 17, bringing a large number of updates to software such as Word, Excel, and fixing a series of problems such as SVG rendering.

Word

  • Fixed issues related to text anchoring in SVG rendering.

  • Fixes the problem that the application closes unexpectedly when the user repeatedly taps or uses shortcut keys to turn on and off the reading function.

Excel

  • Fixes a malfunction where auto-save may be temporarily disabled. This problem occurs when users use sensitivity labels to protect documents.

  • Solved the problem that if a list contains blank values, the user would not be able to select a value from the drop-down list in the cell.

  • Fixed an issue where search results would be lost in the task pane of the PivotTable Field List.

  • Solved the problem that some data in the dialog box would be hidden when selecting cells in multiple monitors.

  • Fixed when users import Microsoft Excel 97-2003 worksheet objects into another application (such as Word documents)

  • When the conversion function did not fully convert the object.

  • Fixed issues related to text anchoring in SVG rendering.

  • Fixed the problem that the program closes unexpectedly when the application uses the OLEDB API to provide services for ACE.OLEDB.12.0 or ACE.OLEDB.16.0.

PowerPoint

  • Solve the problem of malfunction when using the touchpad to operate and double-click to select the text.

  • Fixed issues related to text anchoring in SVG rendering.

  • Fixed the error caused when inserting a Vimeo video into a slideshow.
