Delta obtains American precision automation company for US$88.9 million

Delta announced that it has spent US$88.9 million to acquire a 100% stake in Universal Instruments, a leading global electronics assembly, and precision automation company.

According to the latest report, Delta acquired UI Acquisition Holding Co. through its subsidiary Delta International Holding Limited BV in order to obtain Universal Instruments companies and subsidiaries in countries around the world.

Through this acquisition, Delta will strengthen Delta’s automation solution layout in the electronics assembly and precision industry, and at the same time integrate the R&D and sales resources of both parties, and accelerate Delta’s comprehensive and complete layout of intelligent manufacturing in the electronics industry.

Moreover, it is understood that Universal Instruments is a century-old company headquartered in the United States. Provide automated precision processing solutions, customers covering world-renowned companies, a wide range of fields, including automotive, computer, medical, precision manufacturing, and other industries.
