LG Wing dual-screen phone receives Android 11 update

LG Wing, LG’s last mobile phone, has begun to push Android 11 updates, proving that although LG has withdrawn from the mobile phone market, it has not forgotten to continue to serve its mobile phone users.

Although many mobile phones have now been updated to the Android 12 system, considering that LG has withdrawn from the mobile phone market, the priority of smartphones in LG is no longer high, so it is understandable that the push is late.

It is worth mentioning that LG has promised to provide “up to three major Android version operating system updates” for smartphones released in 2019 and beyond. This means that LG Wing should be able to update to the Android 13 system in the future, and the same is true for LG Velvet and LG V60.

Furthermore, LG Wing was launched in September 2020. It adopts a very unique dual-screen design and has two modes. In the split-screen mode, the two pieces can run different tasks, such as making a call while navigating.

In collaboration mode, the secondary screen can be used to assist the main screen program to run, such as when a video is played on the main screen, the secondary screen can view comments, etc.
