Here’s how to set up fingerprint scanner in Google Pixel 5

The Pixel 5 may not be as shocking as some of the Android flagships launched this year. However, if you want the best features that Google can provide, there is nothing better than this, which has stock Android.

Although it is a mid-to-high-end device, Pixel 5 still has many features. For better or worse, Google has used the Pixel 5 to remove the Face Unlock instead of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In the initial setup, you will be prompted to set up the fingerprint scanner and create a PIN or password. However, if you decide to skip this step, you can set up the Pixel 5 scanner through the following methods.

Steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your Pixel 5.
  2. Scroll down and select Security.
  3. Under Device Security, select Pixel Imprint.
  4. Enter your PIN, if applicable.
  5. Tap Add Fingerprint.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
