Huawei FreeBuds 4i supports new intelligence audio using the ANC that eliminates unwanted environment by identifying unwanted sound waves and creating precisely inverted signals to neutralize the original sound, thereby reducing distracting background noise to the greatest possible extent.

The FreeBuds 4i comes with a 3D bionic design and it packs a 55mAh battery on each earbud and 215mAh on the charging box. On regular use, a user can listen up to 7.5 hours of music with ANC enabled, 10 hours if disabled.

Before starting, let’s take a quick look at the device. It includes a Function button on the side of the charging case and an LED indicator at the front. You’ll use both when pairing the FreeBuds 4i with your other device.

Method 1: Pair Huawei Freebuds 4i Manually

1. Place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the case lid open, then press and hold the button on the case for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white, indicating that they’ve entered pairing mode.

2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone to search for available devices. Find HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i from the device list, and touch the name to start pairing.

Method 2: Pair Huawei Freebuds 4i Automatically

1. Place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the case lid open, then press and hold the button on the case for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white, indicating that they’ve entered pairing mode.

2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone. An auto-discovery dialog box will pop up on the screen, displaying the earbud’s name and image. Touch CONNECT to begin pairing.

Method 3: Pair Huawei Freebuds 4i via AI Life App

1. Place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the case lid open, then press and hold the button on the case for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white, indicating that they’ve entered pairing mode.

2. Enable WLAN, Bluetooth, and location service on your phone. Touch the plus icon (“+”) in the upper right corner in the AI Life app, touch Add device to scan for devices, and then select the name of your earbuds.
