On April 24, the Huawei Developer Conference 2021 (Cloud) was held in Shenzhen. As the first event of the conference, the Pioneer Youth Inclusive Program was released for college students. In the intelligent age, only when multiple parties collaborate and complement each other’s advantages can a benign talent ecology and training system is built. In the past few years, Huawei’s root technology-based talent training solutions have helped reform and optimize the university curriculum system, and have carried out diversified cooperative projects with many universities.
In September 2020, the Ministry of Education-Huawei Smart Base Production and Education Integration Collaborative Education Project was released. At present, Huawei has cooperated with 72 colleges and universities and established smart base college associations. As one of the first batch of cooperative universities, Yao Yingxue, vice president of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), stated in his speech that the school and Huawei have established a talent training mechanism based on key core technologies, which will cultivate new national engineering talents and top-notch talents.
In order to further stimulate the value of industry-university-research cooperation and promote the integration of industry and education, the Huawei Cloud Pioneer Youth Inclusive Program will provide five exclusive supports for college students:

- At the same time, student discounts are also set up, including exclusive discounts for cloud service packages, sandbox experiments, and micro-authentication.

With the deepening of cooperation with universities, a large number of science and engineering students use Huawei’s technology platform and tools to carry out professional practice and achieve fruitful results. At the event site, 4 winners of “Pioneer Youth” from the South China University of Technology, Zheng Qunru from the South China University of Technology, Huang Yeqi from University of Science and Technology of China, Zhu Dezhi from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Li Tianyi from Tianjin University, shared their cooperation with Huawei and won the gold medal and won the championship.
Among them, Zheng Qunru of the South China University of Technology created a one-stop smart energy solution based on the Huawei Cloud ModelArts platform. The solution won the gold medal in the 2020 China International “Internet +” competition and has been successfully applied to lithium battery companies to fully practice production and education.
Up to now, the Ministry of Education-Huawei Smart Dock Project has opened more than 1,000 courses and trained 1,500+ teachers. In the future, Huawei Cloud will continue to invest in the training of new engineering talents.
