Apple’s purple iPhone 12 and 12 mini launched with iOS 14.5

On April 21, at the 2021 spring new product launch, Apple released a new purple appearance for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.

The purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be pre-ordered on April 23 and will be officially on sale on April 30.


Apple said that the purple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are equipped with iOS 14.5, support using Apple Watch to unlock while wearing a mask, redesign the program and single episode interface of the Apple Podcast App, and add a “search” tab, and join New emoji.

Siri will no longer give a default voice, and there are a variety of voice options in the English language family to choose from.

Apple noticed out that this software update relies on the release of iOS 14. The main update is the redesign of the home screen, with exquisite widgets and the App resource library.
