Google Lens functionality arrives in desktop web with OCR in Google Photos

Now users of the Google Photos service on PC can recognize text in images, which can then be copied and pasted anywhere, thanks to the addition of support for Google Lens technology.

Google Lens has much more capabilities on mobile devices, but so far only text recognition and copying is implemented on the PC. The browser version of Google Photos does not yet support text translation and cannot recognize objects in photos.
