At the moment, Huawei’s latest custom OS skin EMUI 11 major update is rolling for Huawei devices, and the company is trying to conclude this program as soon as possible across the world.
Huawei Nova 5T is also one of the eligible EMUI 11 devices, which has started receiving the EMUI 11 latest upgrades earlier. However, Nova 5T smartphones in most of the market including the UK, Europe, Singapore, and more have installed stable EMUI 11 builds.
Since then, the stable EMUI 11 version is continuously expanding in the global market and reaching all the Nova 5T devices. According to the official EMUI 11 schedule, this rollout process will conclude at the end of April 2021.

In the meantime, Huawei has started delivering new software for Nova 5T smartphone users. This update installs the latest security patch released in March 2021 that enhances system security as well as boosts overall device performance.
Huawei Nova 5T users receiving EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.142 upgraded from 11.0.0.138 with an update size of 245MB.

Through Settings:
- Open Settings in your device
- Click on system & updates
- Click on the software update
- Check for updates
- Click on the download button
- Install updates
- After completion of the installation, the reboot option appears on the screen
- Reboot the device
