90 percent of American teenagers use Apple iPhone: Report

According to the latest survey results of more than 7,000 teenagers in the US by Piper Sandler, a market research agency, American teenagers really like iPhones.

The survey shows that Apple’s flagship consumer products have very high brand loyalty among American teenagers. 88% of teenagers own an iPhone, and 90% of teenagers hope that the next mobile phone will still be an iPhone.

Many teenagers in the United States not only regard the iPhone as a highly sought-after object but also as a symbol and luxury item. A separate brand loyalty survey also found that people’s loyalty to Apple and iPhone has reached the highest point in history, while the sentiment of Android is declining.

The report also shows that Apple Pay is second only to cash in the payment method that teenagers like. Other technology companies and products that performed well in the report include Netflix, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, and Amazon.

In addition, the survey also covers topics ranging from work and finances to favorite celebrities. Apple products generally perform very well among young people. The high iPhone ownership rate (or self-reported ownership rate) is consistent with previous research.

For example, a study found that the proportion of teenagers who own an iPhone in 2019 was 83%. Apple products are often high on the gift wish list.

A survey conducted by SellCell in March of this year found that Apple’s iPhone’s brand loyalty has increased, while Android users’ loyalty to its device manufacturers has decreased and they are more willing to switch to other brands.

The survey conducted by SellCell in early March 2021, involving more than 5,000 smartphone users, they have the most popular mobile phone brand of various models.
