As part of the Kara Swisher podcast interview, Apple’s current CEO Tim Cook talked about his succession. At the end of the interview, Swisher asked Cook if he would still work at Apple in 10 years.
Cook said that he may no longer be in charge of Apple in 10 years, but “the date has not yet arrived.” He apparently gave no hint as to who will succeed him as CEO.
Apple’s leadership plan has once again received attention. In the past few years, long-term executives such as Jony Ive, Dan Riccio, and Phil Schiller of the company have left.

Tim Cook has worked for Apple since 1997 and served as Apple’s CEO in 2011 after the death of founder Steve Jobs. Last year, Cook celebrated his 60th birthday. Naturally, there are many speculations about how long he will be in charge of the world’s largest company.
Cook’s answer seems to indicate that he will stay in this position for a while, and there is no set date yet. Last year, Bloomberg said that Apple is paying more and more attention to succession planning, and CEO candidates include Jeff Williams and John Ternus.
