Samsung Galaxy A52 5G variant with 120Hz display will be launched in India soon

Samsung recently launched three new mid-range smartphones under its Galaxy A lineup globally. The Galaxy A52 was launched in both 4G and 5G variants while there is only an LTE variant of the Galaxy A72 is available in the market.

Aside from this, the company has also unveiled the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 in India. However, Samsung is currently shipping only the 4G version of the Galaxy A52, which features a 90Hz refresh rate display.

According to the latest information, it looks like the South Korean tech giant is preparing to unveil the 5G variant of the Galaxy A52 in India as it has recently listed on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification site, carrying a model number SM-A526B/DS.

Just like the Galaxy A52 4G, the 5G model also sports a 6.5″ AMOLED display but it features a 120Hz refresh rate while the 4G only has a 90Hz panel. Moreover, it is powered by Snapdragon 750G processor for powerful performance.

In terms of camera, the Galaxy A52 equipped with a quad rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP main lens with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. Furthermore, it comes packed with a long-lasting 4500mAh battery with up to 15W fast charging.

However, Samsung has not yet revealed its plan to ship the Galaxy A52 5G in the Indian market. We’ve to wait for some time until the OEM officially confirms the arrival of this smartphone in the country. We’ll keep you posted whenever any new information comes on this matter.
