ASUS ROG Phone 5 launched with Snapdragon 888, 144Hz AMOLED display, and more

The ASUS mobile phone model ASUS I007D has been found on the Bluetooth SIG website and will support Bluetooth 5.2. It may be the new ASUS ROG Phone 7 mobile phone.

Asustek launched the Tencent ROG gaming phone 5. Since the model of ROG Phone, 5 is ASUS I005D, it can be considered that this new phone is ROG Phone 7. However, it is still in the early certification stage, and its specific configuration and positioning are unclear.

ASUS launched the Tencent ROG gaming phone 5, equipped with a 6.78-inch FHD+AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. ROG Gaming Phone 5 utilizes the Snapdragon 888 SoC with a clock frequency of 2.84GHz and a built-in Adreno 660 GPU.

Tencent’s ROG gaming phone 5 has three models, namely ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and ROG Phone 5 Phantom. The top version provides up to 18GB of memory and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage space.

This phone runs the ROG UI customization system based on Android 11 right out of the box, is equipped with a 6000mAh large-capacity battery, and supports 65W fast charging.

By looking at the cameras, Tencent ROG gaming phone 5 is equipped with three sensors on the back, namely the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main sensor, 13-megapixel 125-degree wide-angle sensor, and 5 million-pixel micro Distance sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 24 million-pixel camera on the front.
