Apple Music launched a special topic, showing the excellent female power by its Playlist songs

music service Apple Music has released a special topic today, featuring songs and stories by top female musicians in the music world, showing the ‘excellent female power’. This topic will start from March 8th and run through the whole month.

Apple Music will focus on promoting outstanding women from various fields during this period.  Apple declares: They may play the role of leader or break records, and even reach the top rankings.

Through their works and positive changes in their lives, they bring influence within and outside popular culture and inspire others. Starting today, users can log in to enjoy a series of ‘Visionary Women’ theme playlists produced by artists and opinion leaders from all over the world.

This series gathers more than 20 female artists and opinion leaders from international regions, with a variety of music styles and fields of expertise, including the top-ranked hip-hop queen Cardi B, crossover supermodel Cara Delevingne, pioneer female musician St. Vincent, and well-known independent Romy, the female lead singer of the band The xx, and ROSÉ, a member of the K-Pop girl group Black Pink, which is popular all over the world.

Three female artists including Zhou Xun, Liu Ruoying, and Joey Yung made a special playlist as Chinese representatives and talked about the stories behind them, sharing their musical memories and independent and self-consistent life experiences.

Many of Zhou Xun’s playlists are episodes from classic film and television works, and these soundtracks have fixed the traces of women from different eras grasping their lives. She told Apple Music, “I chose these songs because I have a lot of memories, and hearing these will bring me to that place at that time.

Rene Liu’s playlist arrangement starts from her own, reaching out and exploring the ‘independent’ state of women at all levels.  Joey Yung, the Hong Kong pop singer who has reappeared in the public eye as a contestant, shared a series of feelings about the changes in life with a selection of songs when he shared his own playlist.

For her, it is a kind of looking back and indifferent, while ‘Forever Young’ summarizes her frivolous youth and profligacy, and continues to follow the heart of a child. All the playlists and their insights can now be played and collected in the special section of ‘Visionary Women’.

Additionally, don’t miss the hot DJ mixes brought by pioneer women, as well as the playlists of female creators and producers specially produced by Apple Music’s global editors and the selection of representative works by female musicians.

In the specially presented ‘Women Take Over This Issue’s Playlist’ column, Ariana Grande also personally selected more than 100 of her favorite, shackle-breaking female musicians to join the Who Runs the World playlist, I hope to experience the reshaping of female pop music with users.
