Apple jailbreak tool Unc0ver released v6.1.0, fixes iOS 14 stability issues

The Apple jailbreak tool Unc0ver launched v6.0.0 on March 1. It supports systems from iOS 11.0 to iOS 14.3, compatible with all mobile phones from iPhone 6s to iPhone 12, and a variety of iPads.

Pwn20wnd, the development team of the tool, released the v6.1.0 version that fixes some problems and improves the stability of jailbreak.

The following is the update log:

  • Fixed known issues under the iOS 14 system and improved stability
  • Fixed an issue that caused the unc0ver App to display different jailbreak settings when it was opened. The problem occurred in iOS 14
  • Added a custom plug-in libkrw for iOS 14 to support security personnel and developers to enable the read and write functions of the system kernel

This tool also supports iPadOS 14 but does not support the latest iOS 14.4 version. Previously, the bugs of Unc0ver v6.0.0 include random restart, cyclic restart, phone freezing, and so on.

The team has found a kernel vulnerability in iOS 14.4, and it is supposed that the Unc0ver tool will support iOS 14.4 in the future.
