As per the report, Tesla’s US official website showed that the estimated delivery time for Model 3 was shortened from 3-6 weeks to 2-4 weeks.
Earlier, Tesla stated that when Tesla’s car demand is slowing and the market is facing a shortage of chips, the company plans to significantly reduce the production of Model 3 sedans for two consecutive weeks, and the reduction will continue until March 7.
The reason for the slowdown in production is not clear, but people familiar with the matter said it may be affected by a shortage of chips.
